meaning of education and education development

According to Kamugisha (2016) define the term education as the process of acquiring

knowledge. Also it mean the level of accumulated knowledge, information or skills by an individual distinctive of others, for example Diploma, Bachelor, master’s and PhD or education is deemed of a dynamic process(ongoing) involving a person in various aspects to acquire and assimilate knowledge, values and skills; (Nyirenda and Ishumi 2002:41)

According to Adam and Chapman(2002). Education is a systematic process through which a child or adult acquires knowledge, experience, skills and found attitude. It makes an individual civilized, refined education is the only means, its goals are to make an individual perfect.

Therefore, education is a process of facilitating learning or the acquiring of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs and habits.

Education development is a growing and vibrant field, defined as "helping colleges and universities function effectively as teaching and learning communities” (felten, kalish, pingree and plank, 2007, p.93)

Education development refers to the change of the level of education from one stage to another stage for instance from pre-primary to primary to secondary education as well as colleges or universities Education, is the process by which an individual acquires knowledge and skills necessary for applicant and adapting to the environment and the every changing social, political and economic condition of social, political and economic condition of society and as a means by which one can realize one's full potential. Education and training, is the process of initiation and preparing man through training in his environment, to play achieve role in a society.
